The past year was home to a wealth of new food in these parts — enough that it’s hard to keep track of it all. So here’s a cheat sheet to a few of my favorite bites, in no particular order, of the past year. This isn’t a list of the best plates of food in Hampton Roads: That list would be much, much longer. Rather, it’s some of the best plates I had this year at new restaurants, and a few great new plates at older ones.
