Norfolk fine dining event, with wine pairings, will raise funds to fight diabetes

Harper Bradshaw of Harper’s Table in Suffolk and Eric Nelson of crudo nudo are teaming up with Bill Averett of Roanoke Valley Wine Company to entice you to dine in during their Tour de Cure fundraiser for the American Diabetes Association.
This one-of-a-kind evening will take place from from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. April 11 at crudo nudo on 21st St. in Norfolk.
Chefs will be preparing snacks of Alaskan halibut and cauliflower, caviar and oyster brioche. First course is scallop tartare with green apple and black truffle followed by a second course of Suffolk asparagus, country ham, green garlic, golden beet and pistachio. Lobster roe tagliatelle with Maine lobster and green chic peas makes your third course, while duck and foie with charred carrot, fava beans, spring onion and cabbage leaves arrives as the fourth course. A koji cured prime yakitori is showcased in the fifth course, and white chocolate with strawberries is sure to be a sweet finish for the dessert course.
